Privacy Policy

Hardwood Floor Hero ("we", "the app") is a tool for planning floor layouts and cut lists. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it minimal.
What we collect
- Your floor plans. Room sizes, board settings, cut-ins and layouts you enter. On the free tier these stay on your device (browser storage). If you create an account and save a job, that plan is stored on our servers tied to your account.
- Account email. If you sign in, we store your email address to identify your account and send you a one-time sign-in link.
- Subscription status. If you upgrade to Pro, we store whether your subscription is active and which plan, so we can unlock Pro features.
- We do not collect your name, location, contacts, photos taken with the camera-measure tool (those are processed in your browser and never uploaded), or use advertising/tracking cookies.
How we use it
To run the app: authenticate you, save and sync your jobs, and provide Pro features. We use a single sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. We do not sell your data.
Service providers
- Cloudflare — hosting and database (account + saved jobs).
- Resend — sends your sign-in emails.
- Stripe and/or Google Play Billing — process subscription payments. We never see or store your card details.
The "Shopping list" and "Find a pro" sections contain affiliate links to retailers; if you buy through them we may earn a commission. Those retailers have their own privacy policies.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account and saved jobs until you delete them or ask us to remove your account. You can delete saved jobs in the app at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, email us (below).
Children
The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
